Human Resources

Human Resources is responsible for recruitment in the Department of Justice

We have overall responsibility for the recruitment of staff in the Department’s Headquarters and associated offices. Some of the Department’s agencies and related bodies are responsible for their own HR functions. These include the Courts Service, Legal Aid Board, Irish Prison Service, Property Registration Authority, Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission and the Garda Síochána.
